Red Carpet Ready This Spring

Is your spring social calendar full already? Mine is, and it seems like everyone’s feeling really energetic now that the weather has started getting warmer (finally!). From casual get-togethers to fancy parties post-work, you probably need some new footwear to flatter your personal style. Here are a few hot looks to test out.

Shoes with Ladylike Details
Pearls, bows, wraps, and more– don’t you need a new pair of heels with an uber-feminine touch? Unless you have a thing for bow-bedecked heels, you could probably do with a new pair. Explore pumps in jewel tones with contrasting bows, and then start shopping for pearl-adorned high heels in satin.

Peep-Toe Booties
Peep-toe booties are going strong, and you can easily find plenty of different styles of peep-toe shoes online. Since these sandals give you extra ventilation with that airy toe section, you can wear these straight through until summer. For even more wearability, try a pair of low shooties in a neutral color. How about ivory or a pinkish tan?

Zipper-Accent Pumps
Zipper accents look fabulous on select pairs of heels. Have you chosen a pair yet? There a ton of different styles from which to choose, including luscious pairs with zippered blooms, and more modern styles with separated zipper trim running all along the outer rim. Take your pick from these glinty, trendy beauties that are very hot at the moment. While we love black leather upper trimmed with zippers, you might also like a soft satin pair in red or forest green.

Nautical Style Heels
Ship ahoy? Nautical-styled heels come in a ton of different varieties, and not just in navy and white, either. Hunt down rope-embellished peep-toed heels or slip-on styles with an anchor design, and then wear them with something vintage-inspired, like high-waisted trousers or a tie-waist dress with big buttons running down the front. Double-breasted designs? Yes, please!

Reptilian Accented Heels
Snake and lizard heels are back with a vengeance, but don’t worry– your entire shoe does not have to feature the trendy print. Instead of going full-on snake, look for shoes to wear with accents of reptilian design. Piped edging is a nice touch with a high-waisted pencil skirt, too.

No matter what you wear on your feet, don’t forget that you can easily pair your fashionable shoes with a modest, but stylish, dress in a color like navy blue or brown instead of your basic black– and then amp things up with a sweet scarf like a Parisian would.
