1. Driving Moccasins: These simple flat shoes are comfortable, stylish, and 100% matchable with jeans or pants like cords or flat-front dress trousers. Driving moccasins are always flat, which means that you won’t look like you are going out of your way to wear shoes sans heels. If you fly often, these shoes are great to battle a chilly plane—fur-lined shoes even work in summer and are a must in winter. Summer-appropriate flat shoes can be light green or a delicate blue.

2. Mini Wedges: Mini wedges with wooden soles are fantastic, and you can get them in surprisingly low heights if you do a little hunting. These shoes might look like a wedge or a platform, but they’ll only increase your height by an inch or two, maximum. Mini wedges look great when paired with suede or microsuede, and they can easily be paired with super-dark denim.
