The Price We Pay

September 28, 2011 Comments (0)

We all know that the price we pay for fashion can be extraordinarily high. While there is a time and a place for inexpensive shoes that you’ll only wear a few times and then have to toss, the rule of thumb is that good, well-constructed shoes that will stand the test of time will cost you more.

So I wanted to post a question to myShoes.com visitors: What’s your highest over-the-top shoe splurge?

Did you spend $700 on a fabulous pair of black pumps last year? $550 for the perfect pair of strappy party-girl shoes? We want to know not only how much you paid and what you paid for, but also if you’re still getting some wear out of your pricey shoes–or if they’re merely taking up residence in the back of your closet.

Once we get your feedback we’ll reveal the results in a future blog posting to discover once and for all whether pricey shoes are a sound fashion investment.
