Giving shoes as a gift can be a tricky idea in theory, but when you break it down, if it’s a pair you know the person will love, you’ll score big. Before the holiday whirlwind settles in, call the lucky gift recipient and work in a few basic questions to get an idea of what they may need out of a pair of shoes. Is this person a runner? Do they garden? Do they travel often? Questions like these can send you down the right path for finding the ideal shoe for your gift recipient. There’s nothing wrong with asking a few questions, just don’t make it blatant that you’re buying shoes for them.
